Welcome to Social Therapist. These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and participation in consulting, coaching, strategy sessions, marketing intensives, and related services provided by Stephanie Annesley ("Social Therapist," "we," "our," or "us").

By purchasing or booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Social Therapist provides educational consulting, coaching, marketing strategy, implementation support, and business development services for therapists and helping professionals.

These services are educational and consultative in nature and are designed to help you develop your marketing strategy, business systems, and private practice. They are not therapy, clinical supervision, legal, financial, accounting, or tax services.

2. Booking & Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.

Consulting sessions must be used within six (6) months of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

Because consulting sessions are reserved exclusively for you, all sales are final.

Refunds are not offered for any consulting or coaching services.

If you need to reschedule your appointment:

You must provide at least 24 hours' notice before your scheduled session.

Sessions may be rescheduled a maximum of two (2) times.

If you reschedule more than twice, cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or fail to attend your session, your payment will be forfeited and no refund or credit will be issued.

If Social Therapist needs to reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a new session at no additional cost.

4. Strategy Call Requirement

Marketing Intensives are available only to clients who have completed—or are scheduled to complete—a complimentary Strategy Call with Stephanie Annesley prior to their Intensive.

This call ensures the Intensive is the right fit for your business and allows us to maximize the value of your session.

5. Client Responsibilities

By participating in consulting or coaching services, you agree to:

Attend your sessions on time.

Provide accurate and relevant information about your business and goals.

Complete any agreed-upon preparation before your session.

Take responsibility for implementing the recommendations provided.

Your results depend on many factors, including your effort, consistency, implementation, business decisions, and market conditions.

6. No Guarantees

While our goal is to help you build a clear, effective marketing strategy and grow your practice, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Revenue or income

Client inquiries or bookings

Website traffic

Social media growth

Business growth or profitability

Testimonials, examples, and case studies reflect individual experiences and should not be interpreted as guarantees of future results.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided through Social Therapist—including but not limited to worksheets, templates, frameworks, presentations, action plans, videos, recordings, documents, and educational resources—remain the intellectual property of Social Therapist and Stephanie Annesley.

Your purchase grants you a non-transferable license to use these materials for your own business.

You may not:

Copy or reproduce our materials

Share materials with others

Sell, sublicense, or redistribute our resources

Teach or reproduce our proprietary frameworks without prior written permission

8. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and will keep information shared during consulting sessions confidential except where disclosure is required by law.

Please note that consulting and coaching services do not establish a therapist-client relationship and should not be considered psychotherapy or mental health treatment.

9. Session Recordings & AI-Assisted Notes

To help provide accurate recommendations and personalized action plans, consulting and coaching sessions may be recorded and/or transcribed using secure technology.

Recordings and transcripts may be used solely to support service delivery, including creating:

- Session summaries

- Personalized action plans

- Implementation checklists

- Follow-up resources

- AI-assisted notes

These recordings and transcripts will remain confidential and will never be shared, sold, or used for marketing purposes without your explicit written consent.

If you prefer not to have your session recorded or transcribed, please notify us before your session begins. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, although doing so may limit our ability to provide certain post-session resources.

10. Disclaimer

All information provided through Social Therapist is intended for educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing provided during consulting or coaching sessions should be interpreted as legal, financial, tax, accounting, clinical, or therapeutic advice.

You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make regarding your business, marketing, and professional practice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Social Therapist and Stephanie Annesley shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation in consulting or coaching services.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any updates will become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
