But my career definitely didn’t start in therapy.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 15 years working in marketing, branding, social media, and entrepreneurship.
I built businesses of my own, worked with brands around the world, and helped entrepreneurs turn their ideas into businesses people actually wanted to buy from.
Then I decided to become a therapist.
Shortly after starting my placement, I found out I was pregnant.
Suddenly, I wasn’t just thinking about how to build a successful private practice.
I was thinking about how to build one that would actually fit the life I wanted.
I wanted to be a present mom.
I wanted flexibility and financial stability.
I wanted work that felt meaningful.
And I didn't want my income to always be limited by how many hours I could fit into my calendar.
The traditional path into private practice didn't feel like it was designed for that.
So instead of waiting for someone to give me an opportunity, I built my own private practice.
And I used the same marketing and business strategies I’d spent years using with entrepreneurs to do it.
That experience completely changed the way I thought about private practice.
Because therapists are incredible at helping people.
But we're rarely taught how to build the business that makes doing that work sustainable.
That's where I come in.

Actionable tips, personal stories, and honest advice for growing your business and taking care of yourself.

That combination is the reason Social Therapist exists.
I understand the clinical side of this work — the ethics, the responsibility, the vulnerability involved in putting yourself online as a therapist.
But I also understand positioning, branding, offers, funnels, SEO, content, sales, systems, and what actually makes a business grow.
You shouldn't have to become an influencer.
You shouldn't have to post every day.
And you definitely shouldn't have to copy what every other therapist on Instagram is doing.
You need a clear message.
A strategy that makes sense.
Systems you can actually maintain.
And a busiess model designed around the life you're trying to create.
Because I don't believe the goal is simply to have a full practice.
I think the goal is to build a practice that gives you options.
The option to take Friday afternoon off.
To spend more time with your kids.
To travel.
To take fewer clients during a hard season.
To grow beyond 1:1 work if you want to.
To make good money doing work you genuinely care about.
Your business should support your life — not become another thing your life has to revolve around.
That's the kind of practice I'm building.
And it's the kind I want to help you build, too.

Therapist, marketer, entrepreneur — I've stopped trying to fit myself into one box.
Time freedom. Financial freedom. Creative freedom. The ability to change what your business looks like when your life changes.
Which has made the question “What do I actually want my life to look like?” more important than ever.
Your business should become easier to run as it grows, not harder.
Because posting more isn't a business plan.

Whether you're trying to get your first clients, grow a sustainable caseload, or build something beyond 1:1 therapy, I'll help you figure out what's actually keeping you stuck — and what to do next.
No generic marketing checklist.
No pressure to become a full-time content creator.
Just smart, simple strategy designed around your practice, your goals, and your life.
